I first began practicing yoga in 2005. My initial intention was to find relief from chronic back pain associated with scoliosis and years of being in a fast paced, physically demanding work environment. I found freedom from physical pain, yes, but more than just that. Yoga showed me how to slow down, stress less, be in the moment, clear my mind, and breathe (really, the list of benefits is innumerable!).

Then my practice took on a new intention and I found myself wanting to share this healing art with as many people as I could, so I began teacher training in 2007. I received my certificate and registered with the Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level. I am still a teacher in training, and will always be - a true teacher is an eternal student. I am grateful for every lesson learned and look forward to learning more as I continue on my path. Along the way, I hope to touch as many lives as I can with the power of this ancient practice. I hope we all come together - different people, many paths, one truth...peace, inside and out.
