Chair Yoga—you may have heard about it and all its amazing benefits. Well, guess what? It’s here! Chagrin Yoga is excited to announce it’s brand new chair yoga class to its weekly schedule taking place every Sunday from 10:15am to
11:15am.
Chair Yoga is a full body practice designed for people who want to experience the benefits of yoga with the assistance of a chair as a prop. Whether you may a slight to moderate mobility issue or you are new to yoga or physical exercise, chair yoga is a wonderful way to get in tune with the mind and body. From a chair, we’ll work on breathing techniques, core engagement, flexibility, and structural posture. Chair yoga retrains your brain to be mindful of the body’s true alignment allowing you to sit taller and feel more open.
It’s the perfect way to decompress from the everyday grind. If you carry a lot of tension in your body whether it be your upper back, neck shoulders and hips, this practice is for you! Open to ALL ages!
