Meet Our Team
Darcy Providente
I am the owner of Chagrin Yoga – a wife, mom, dog mom, & orchid enthusiast who is passionate about yoga. Yoga saved me and opened up a practice that is a journey where I get to learn every day. I love teaching fun power flows with warm & gooey temps; using blocks (blocks are for masters!); and empowering each soul through kindness with a mix of challenges, modifications, and assists. I teach to all levels, from high school students to seniors, and my approach is simply to be me – leave the drama at the door. If you want, you can pick it up on the way out.
In my personal practice, I like everything from Therapeutics to Buti to Power, and through daily practice, I keep learning how to preserve my physical body and maintain a clear, open mind.
Over 30 years ago, I started offering in home training through word of mouth and something divine led me to my first yoga class. What happened in that first class amazed me – I cried tears of joy and fear and asked myself what was that?! I was hooked from day one…
I am so blessed to teach & be a part of this incredible space. Over the years we’ve built a wonderful community of students, teachers, and staff who are all rooted as a family at Chagrin Yoga.

Cynthia Chylik
My love of yoga started about 16 years ago after the birth of my third child. Yoga was a weekly treat to destress and relax. When my youngest started kindergarten my regular practice started. As I immersed myself in the practice, I became stronger, increased my mobility and grew emotionally and physically. I became a certified teacher in 2013 via Chagrin Yoga’s training and immediately began to teach. I downsized my graphic design business as I started teaching more yoga.
I am registered with Yoga Alliance and have an E-RYT 500 and YACEP. I also am a Reiki Master, MELT Instructor, Prana Flow Certified and Barre Certified. I enjoy teaching many styles of yoga including restorative, slow flow, power, vinyasa and yin. For me the practice includes the connection to the higher self and source. We can lose our way in life but the practice can become the vehicle for that connection back. When I’m not teaching, I’m spending time with my family and animals and most likely outside. I have a fine art background and I enjoy using my hands to create art on paper, canvas, the computer, the kitchen or in the garden.

Melanie Tessmer
Melanie has been a yoga instructor at Chagrin Yoga since opening our doors back in 2009 and has been practicing yoga consistently since 2006. Melanie enjoys teaching Power Vinyasa style classes which bring a combination of strength, balance, flexibility, and breathwork to the practice, as well as enjoying a rockin’ playlist!
Melanie works full time as an Occupational Therapist and is also a certified Personal Trainer. She loves to incorporate her knowledge of the human body into her teaching and her practice.
Melanie lives with her BFF/boyfriend Ben and their cat Ace. Melanie loves to read, listen to music, go to concerts, and spend time outside.

In addition to basic and power classes, Ken also practices and teaches Acro Yoga which is a combination of traditional yoga poses and partnered acrobatics. Ken’s real passion is teaching whether it be yoga or grad students.
Morgan Weber

I started practicing yoga at Chagrin Yoga in 2013 after moving back to Chagrin after graduate school when I, reluctantly, joined my aunt to take my first class. Despite not having a clue about any of the poses, I discovered that I felt at “home” on my mat and began practicing regularly.
I felt called to deepen my understanding of more than just the physical side of yoga and began my 200 Hour Teacher Training with Darcy in August of 2015. I completed my training with two other familiar Chagrin Yoga faces – Katie Dalpiaz and Ken James. In March of 2017, I became a certified Buti Yoga instructor.
Recognizing that my personal practice has changed over the years, I urge students to look inward and adjust each practice to what serves them best that day. My classes focus on strength and mobility through dynamic movements. There is guaranteed to be some unique (and fun!) elements in my classes in which I hope students find the space to feel uninhibited in their bodies.
Off the mat, I work at a college in disability services. When I am not working, I enjoy weightlifting with my husband, Justin, reading, cooking, and spending time with my sweet niece.

Greta Insolia
Greta has been teaching Bikram style yoga for over 10 years and practicing for 16 years. She invites students to soften into their own somatic awareness using the breath to regulate and guide determination and focus.

Molly first discovered yoga in 2010 and became a yoga instructor in 2016. She remembers instantly feeling at home upon walking into Chagrin Yoga for the first time and hopes to cultivate that same welcoming experience for each and every one of her students. Molly teaches a variety of class styles ranging from Slow Flow to Buti Yoga. She strives to lead classes that are equal parts challenging and empowering while offering modifications to ensure the class is accessible to all yogis.
When I began practicing yoga a decade ago, I immediately gravitated to Bikram hot style. For the past fifteen years, I’ve studied holistic health and wellness, finding solutions to my own health issues through alternative methods.

Kadecia Ber has been a yogi since childhood, learning her first sun salutation sequence from her father when she was just five years old. Yoga has always been a part of her life, from honing in on her home practice or visiting studios across the country. She was blessed to be raised in a household where getting on the mat every day was routine, and learning to meditate and be present were daily lessons. In her regular studio practice, she enjoys exploring different styles of Yoga including Bikram, Vinyasa, Power, and Buti.
I took my first yoga class when I was in high school and thought I would never try yoga again. I remember feeling unsure and uncomfortable with the slower pace of the gym vinyasa class. After years of running and teaching cycle classes I found myself back on the mat in 2011. This time I was craving a pause from my normal fast paced lifestyle. At first I was drawn to yoga by the calm studio and the challenge of practicing the poses. However, overtime I fell in love with the practice and the space it created in my life. In 2015 I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training and began teaching. My yoga practice has allowed me to find strength in the connection with my breath and learn more about myself.
